The Verizon XV6800 has been in my hands for a little over two months now and I must say that I'm impressed with this PDA phone. My previous phone was its two-generation-old predecessor, the XV6600. I've been waiting for quite a while for this upgraded version to ship. There were announcements well over a year ago and even some pics of the phone on the web, but Verizon hadn't made the XV6800 available until the tail end of November of last year. According to several sources on the web, Verizon didn't want to release it until they were able to squash a number of bugs that were reported on the Sprint Mogul, the XV6800's twin. Based on my usage for the last few months, I'd say their bug-hunting was successful. |
